Harmony for Hope 2023

A short summary of our Harmony for Hope fundraiser concert for Yarrow Society

On May 26th 2023, members of Key Club Vancouver Westside gathered at Unitarian Church to conduct our first Harmony for Hope in three years since the Coronavirus Pandemic of 2020. Featuring a wide variety of performances ranging from classical guitar, piano, singing, saxophone, raffles, an auction, and a concession stand, the concert was a resounding success as we raised more than $15,000 as funding for Yarrow Society's grocery program.

Yarrow Society for Intergenerational Justice is a non-profit organization that supports low-income immigrant seniors in Vancouver's Chinatown and Downtown Eastside. They ensure seniors can overcome the cultural and language barriers to access services necessary for their basic needs. play a crucial role in promoting the multicultural diversity present in our city, and we hope to support their amazing work.

Many thanks to the audience who came to support us, the performers who spent hours practicing and gave up their friday afternoon perform, and to our own Key Club members! It was everyone's hard work and encouragement that made this concert possible, and we give our sincerest gratitude. Harmony for Hope was truly a product of our combined efforts!
